Step 2: Complete a product page for your app

Detailed information about the app may be added on the Product Page. These are pieces of information that the App Store users can view. The well-prepared metadata may get people to download the app. It consists of the following:

App nameName seen by users – choose a name that is short and memorable, up to 30 characters.

SubtitleA short summary of your app – the subtitle can be up to 30 characters long and appears below your app’s name throughout the App Store.
App previewsA brief clip that shows the features, and user interface of your app and can be seen immediately on the App Store – previews may be up to 30 seconds long, it can display up to three app previews.
ScreenshotsImages communicating your app’s user experience – you may display up to ten screenshots, they can’t contain transparency.
DescriptionAn engaging description that showcases your app’s features – it can have up to 4000 characters and you can always update your app’s description when you submit a new version.
Promotional textThe promotional text for your app displays at the top of the description – may be up to 170 characters long.
KeywordsKeywords influence where your app appears in search results – choose based on words you think your audience will use to find an app like yours, they’re limited to 100 characters separated by commas and no spaces.

Marketing URLAn optional URL with marketing information about the app.

Step 3: Submit app version for review

After entering all of the essential app data, you may submit a build of your app. The state of the app should be set to Prepare for Submission. By selecting the app on this page, you will be able to view and update the app’s details.
